India, Sept. 23 -- Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh is gearing up for the 80th Commemorative Celebration of World War II, to be held in conjunction with the Pangsau Pass Winter Festival.

Preparations include the construction of a dedicated World War II Museum at Jairampur and the renovation of colonial-era heritage structures to form a heritage tourism circuit.

Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein chaired a high-level review meeting on the projects, emphasizing the importance of preserving historical legacies while promoting tourism.
