Guwahati, April 14 -- Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu visited Riga village in Siang district on Tuesday, April 14, where he unveiled and dedicated projects worth Rs 196.44 crore to improve basic facilities and civic amenities in the area.

The projects cover sectors such as roads, education, government facilities and public services. Officials said the aim is to improve conditions in remote parts of the district that lack basic amenities.

Addressing a gathering, Khandu announced plans to upgrade roads in Riga, construct a circuit house and build a stadium for the district. He said the government is focused on ensuring development reaches remote areas.
