Guwahati: Arunachal Pradesh's ruling BJP has officially moved forward with its nomination for the state's lone Rajya Sabha seat, as party state president Kaling Moyong handed over the nomination ticket to senior leader Tai Tagak on June 6.

The formal announcement marks a key step in finalising the party's representation for the Upper House from the northeastern state. According to party leadership, Tagak has been chosen for his long-standing association with the organisation and sustained involvement in strengthening the BJP's grassroots network across Arunachal Pradesh.
