Dibrugarh: The Arunachal Pradesh State Transport Services (APSTS) celebrated its Golden Jubilee, marking 50 years of dedicated service to the people of the state.

To commemorate the historic milestone, a three-day programme was organised in Khonsa, the headquarters of Tirap district.

Established in 1975, APSTS began its journey with just five employees, providing a vital transportation link between the remote hilly region of Khonsa and Naharkatia.

Over the past five decades, the organisation has played a crucial role in improving connectivity and facilitating socio-economic development across Arunachal Pradesh.
