Guwahati, Aug. 22 -- Arunachal Pradesh has achieved full household coverage in electricity connections and functional tap-water supply, Chief Minister Pema Khandu said on Saturday, highlighting the expansion of essential services across the state over the past decade.

Reviewing the state's development since 2016, Khandu said the number of households with electricity connections has increased from around 1.48 lakh in 2016 to approximately 3.02 lakh in 2026. Household electrification, which stood at about 49 per cent a decade ago, has now reached 100 per cent, according to figures shared by the chief minister.
