Dibrugarh: Arunachal Pradesh Public Health Engineering and Water Supply Minister Mama Natung on Saturday informed that on April 30 (Thursday), a joint verification of geospatial coordinates was conducted along the East Siang boundary by a specialised team from the Survey of India, along with officials from both Arunachal Pradesh and Assam.

On the first day, the survey team identified 19 locations for the installation of boundary pillars based on jointly verified KML/geospatial coordinates.

The survey was carried out from the right bank of the Siang River towards the Oyan-Jampani area and will continue up to Depi village.
