India, Oct. 27 -- UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell, addressing the United Nations Security Council in remarks delivered on Oct. 26, 2026, said that while the international community has built a framework to protect children in war, the reality for children living through conflict is “increasingly dangerous,” and called for action by parties to conflict and Member States.
