India, Oct. 12 -- Children in Lebanon affected by months of conflict are receiving psychological support through art, music and creative activities, as Save the Children seeks to address the lasting emotional impact of war.
Art Offers a Path to Emotional Recovery
The organisation has launched its Healing and Education Through the Arts (HEART) programme to help children and young people process fear, anxiety and traumatic experiences in a safe, supportive environment. Designed for participants aged three to 25, as well as parents and caregivers, the initiative uses drawing, painting, music, drama, poetry and creative writing to encourage emotional expression.
