India, July 23 -- More than 180 children have died in the Democratic Republic of the Congo's latest Ebola outbreak, with thousands more requiring urgent mental health support after witnessing deaths, losing family members and enduring prolonged fear as the epidemic spreads across affected communities.

Save the Children warned that many children are grappling with severe emotional distress after seeing relatives and neighbours succumb to the disease.
