India, Sept. 28 -- One month after devastating floods hit Nepal, children in affected communities are still struggling to access safe drinking water, raising concerns about health, hygiene and their return to normal life, Plan International has warned.
Clean Water Remains Scarce
Flooding damaged water systems and contaminated available sources in several affected areas. For children and families already dealing with displacement and damaged homes, the lack of reliable clean water has made everyday activities such as drinking, cooking and washing more difficult.
