India, Sept. 30 -- Malaysia's planned return of nearly 1,500 Myanmar refugees, including Rohingya, has drawn a warning from Doctors Without Borders (MSF), which says conditions inside Myanmar remain too dangerous for refugees to be sent back. The organisation urged governments to halt forced or premature returns and ensure that any repatriation is voluntary, safe and dignified.

MSF said civilians in Rakhine state and other parts of Myanmar continue to face severe violence amid the country's active conflict. The organisation cited aerial bombardments, mass killings, forced recruitment and restrictions on humanitarian access as major concerns.
