India, Oct. 1 -- At least 11 people were killed and several others injured in an armed gang attack in Haiti's Artibonite department, prompting Amnesty International to call for stronger protection for civilians and accountability for those responsible.

Attack in Gros-Morne

The attack reportedly took place on September 28 in Gros-Morne and was allegedly carried out by members of the Kokorat San Ras gang.
