India, Oct. 8 -- A drone strike on a shelter for internally displaced people in Al Obeid, Sudan, reportedly killed one boy and injured 12 other children, UNICEF said, highlighting the growing danger faced by families seeking refuge from the country's conflict.

Children Hit at Displacement Shelter

The strike occurred late on September 30 at the Al Mina Al Bari shelter in Al Obeid, North Kordofan State. Among the 12 injured children were five boys and seven girls, according to UNICEF.
