India, Sept. 3 -- Thousands of people in western Colombia continue to struggle for medical care, mental health support, food and materials to rebuild their homes three weeks after a powerful 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck the region, Doctors Without Borders, also known as Medecins Sans Frontieres, has said.
Vulnerable Communities Face Deepening Crisis
The earthquake struck western Colombia on August 10, severely affecting cities including Cali and Pereira. However, MSF said some of the most serious unmet needs remain in areas that were already facing poverty, limited access to health care and the presence of armed groups.
