India, Sept. 21 -- Amnesty International has called for the next United Nations Secretary-General to take a firm stand on international law and human rights as the UN faces growing geopolitical pressure and challenges to multilateral cooperation.
Call For A Stronger UN Leadership
Amnesty Secretary General Agnes Callamard is set to attend the 81st UN General Assembly session in New York from September 22 to 26, where she will discuss the selection of the next UN chief and the future of multilateralism.
