India, Sept. 2 -- South Africa's submission of evidence to the International Court of Justice (ICJ), alleging Israel's failure to comply with binding provisional measures in the Gaza genocide case, should prompt other countries to take concrete steps against Israel, Amnesty International said on September 1.

South Africa Challenges Israel's Compliance

South Africa has presented the ICJ with evidence arguing that Israel has failed to implement measures ordered by the court in the case concerning alleged genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. Amnesty said the submission reinforces its own findings that Israeli authorities have continued actions it considers genocidal despite the ceasefire that began in October 2025.
