India, Sept. 25 -- Amnesty International Austria displayed an "END GENOCIDE" banner during the Austria-Israel UEFA Nations League match in Linz on September 24, drawing attention to the humanitarian situation in Gaza and calling for action against the Israel Football Association (IFA).

The banner was displayed inside the stadium as the 2026/27 UEFA Nations League group phase began. Amnesty said the protest was aimed at governments and sporting authorities that, in its view, are aware of conditions in Gaza but have failed to take sufficient action.
