India, Oct. 9 -- Amnesty International has raised concerns over China's treatment of independent Christian communities, highlighting the detention of pastor Wang Lin and the alleged harassment of his wife, Su Ziming, and their two children following a crackdown on Beijing's Zion Church.

In an interview published on October 8, 2026, Su described how the family faced surveillance, repeated disruptions to their lives and restrictions on their freedom of movement.
