New Delhi, March 20 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta chaired a meeting of the Delhi State Disaster Management Authority (DSDMA) with Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu, where a Rs.21,000 crore Urban Flood Mitigation Plan for the capital was approved. The plan aims to provide a long-term solution to waterlogging by building on the government's year-long efforts, including large-scale drain cleaning, strengthening of drainage systems, and targeted interventions at vulnerable points.
