New Delhi, April 23 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the decision to resume wheat procurement at Minimum Support Price (MSP) in the national capital through the Food Corporation of India.

The move is expected to bring major relief to farmers in Delhi, ensuring they receive fair prices for their produce while saving time and transportation costs. With procurement restarting at the local level, farmers will find it easier to sell their wheat, while the Public Distribution System (PDS) is also set to be strengthened with improved foodgrain supply.
