Sitharaman meets Singapore PM, discusses stronger economic and investment ties
New Delhi, Oct. 10 -- Wong noted the continued growth in bilateral cooperation and expressed optimism about India's growth prospects. Sitharaman highlighted India's strong economic fundamentals and shared select projects from the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund pipeline to encourage investment by Singapore-based investors.
The leaders reviewed progress on the outcomes of the fourth India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable, including cooperation in capital markets, payments connectivity, digitalisation, semiconductors, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
