New Delhi, May 19 -- The Delhi Legislative Assembly Secretariat has issued a notification nominating former Delhi BJP president and MLA Satish Upadhyay as vice-chairman of the Delhi Jal Board under the provisions of the Delhi Water Board Act, 1998.

According to the bulletin issued by the Secretariat, MLAs Manoj Shokeen and Ajay Mahawar have also been nominated as members of the Delhi Jal Board.

The notification stated that the nominations were made by the Speaker of the Delhi Legislative Assembly under Sections 3(2)(i) and 3(2)(iii) of the Delhi Water Board Act, 1998.
