New Delhi, Feb. 11 -- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta met Rouble Nagi, teacher and social worker honoured with the Global Teacher Prize 2026, at the Delhi Secretariat.

During the interaction, the Chief Minister appreciated Nagi's decision to utilise the prize money to establish a free vocational training institute, calling it a commendable step towards empowering underserved communities.

Through the Rouble Nagi Art Foundation, she has set up over 800 learning centres in disadvantaged areas, taking education to places where it is needed the most.

On the occasion, Nagi also presented a copy of her book "The Slum Queen" to the Chief Minister.
