New Delhi, Sept. 6 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta attended NESt Fest 2026 at Talkatora Stadium and interacted with youth from the Ashtalakshmi states of the Northeast.

Gupta said the culture, aspirations and confidence of young people from the Northeast reflected the region's growing role in the journey towards a developed India.

She said that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, stronger connectivity, new institutions and expanding opportunities were giving the youth of the Northeast greater confidence and a larger national platform.
