New Delhi, Oct. 7 -- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta attended the event organised by NDMC at the Convention Centre on the auspicious occasion of Adi Kavi Maharshi Valmiki Jayanti.

She said that Maharshi Valmiki, through his immortal creation Ramayana, conveyed that the true strength of society lies in compassion, equality, and the dignity of labour. Even in his era, he taught that a person's identity is determined not by birth, but by deeds.
