New Delhi, June 6 -- Delhi BJP MP from South Delhi Ramvir Singh Bidhuri met Chief Minister Rekha Gupta regarding the ongoing campaign to remove 92 colonies from Delhi's O-Zone category. He highlighted that 45 of these colonies fall within the Mithapur, Jaitpur and Harinagar wards of the Badarpur Assembly constituency.

According to Bidhuri, these colonies were regularized by the government on May 24, 2008. However, on March 8, 2010, the then Delhi and Central governments shifted them from F-Zone to O-Zone. He noted that the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) later issued a notice on September 28, 2013, proposing their restoration to F-Zone, but the required notification has yet to be issued.
