New Delhi, Sept. 29 -- In a circular issued after the meeting, UFBU said the two sides had agreed to immediately form a high-level committee to examine the demand to declare the remaining Saturdays bank holidays. The committee will consider possible alternatives, consult stakeholders and work towards a solution acceptable to banks, employees and customers.

The two sides also agreed to begin discussions on proposed changes to the performance-linked incentive scheme for Scale IV and higher officers, taking into account concerns raised by unions and associations. Outstanding issues recorded in the minutes of March 8, 2024, will be taken up for early resolution.
