New Delhi, March 30 -- Narendra Modi inaugurated the Noida International Airport at Jewar in Uttar Pradesh, describing the occasion as a new chapter in the Viksit UP, Viksit Bharat Abhiyan. He said that Uttar Pradesh has now become one of the states with the highest number of international airports and expressed pride in both laying the foundation stone earlier and inaugurating the project now.
He stated that the airport will benefit regions including Agra, Mathura, Aligarh, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Etawah, Bulandshahr, and Faridabad, creating opportunities for farmers, small and medium enterprises, and youth. He added that the airport will connect western Uttar Pradesh to global markets and symbolise a developed state taking flight.
