New Delhi, May 16 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi held extensive discussions with UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during his visit to the UAE and reiterated India's strongest condemnation of the attacks on the UAE.

Modi said he appreciated Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's leadership, courage and wisdom during the difficult period and also expressed gratitude for the care and concern shown towards the Indian community residing in the UAE.

The two leaders also discussed ways to further deepen the India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with a focus on sectors including trade, energy and other areas of cooperation.
