New Delhi, March 9 -- Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva has hit back at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) after its leaders criticised the Delhi government's proposal to raise loans from the open market.
Sachdeva said that according to the Delhi government's own 2024-25 data, the previous AAP government left behind a debt of about Rs.1.2 lakh crore. He stated that it is a normal administrative practice for state governments to borrow from financial institutions or the market with the permission of the Reserve Bank of India.
