New Delhi, May 20 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the third India-Nordic Summit in Oslo, where leaders discussed expanding cooperation in sustainability, innovation, clean energy, emerging technologies and global issues.

Addressing the joint press statement after the summit, Modi said India and the Nordic countries are "natural partners" due to their shared commitment to democracy, rule of law and multilateralism. He said the partnership has gained significant momentum since the summit format was established eight years ago to strengthen ties between India and the Nordic region.
