New Delhi, Sept. 11 -- Modi described the conversation as warm and productive and said the two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to deepen cooperation as India and Germany celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations.

The two sides discussed cooperation in trade and investment, defence, clean energy, advanced technologies, talent mobility and other key areas.

Modi said Germany is an important pillar of India's engagement with Europe and a valued partner in promoting global peace, stability and prosperity.

The Prime Minister said India and Germany would continue to deepen their forward-looking Strategic Partnership for the benefit of the people of both countries.
