New Delhi, Aug. 4 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi has lauded the commissioning of India's first Make-in-India Green Hydrogen Plant in the port sector at Kandla, calling it a significant step towards the nation's Net-Zero emissions goal.
Responding to a post by the Deendayal Port Authority on X, the Prime Minister said, "This is a commendable effort, championing sustainability and powering our Net-Zero vision."
The Deendayal Port Authority described the initiative as "Feeling progress with green innovation", highlighting that the project marks a powerful stride in advancing clean energy within India's maritime infrastructure.
