New Delhi, Sept. 11 -- Modi said he was happy to meet Aga Khan V and fondly recalled his father, the late Aga Khan IV, and his enduring contributions to development efforts.

The Prime Minister said discussions focused on ways to further strengthen India's partnership with the Aga Khan Development Network in areas including healthcare, agriculture, rural development, and the empowerment of youth and women.

Earlier, Jaishankar also met Aga Khan V and discussed the work being carried out by the Aga Khan Development Network in social development and heritage preservation.

The External Affairs Minister said the two sides also discussed further opportunities for cooperation in India and abroad.
