New Delhi, April 7 -- During an Inter-Ministerial Briefing, it was stated that by the government that online LPG bookings have surged to nearly 97% across the industry, reflecting a significant shift towards digital platforms amid ongoing supply management measures. The government has encouraged consumers to use online booking systems to reduce crowding at distribution centres and ensure smoother delivery operations.

Despite the prevailing geopolitical situation in West Asia, domestic LPG supply remains stable, with no reported dry-outs at distributorships. Over 18 crore LPG cylinders have been delivered to households since March 1, 2026, indicating sustained supply continuity.
