New Delhi, May 25 -- The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2026 examinations scheduled for May 28 in both shifts following the change in the date of the Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) holiday notified by the Government of India.

In a public notice issued on May 24, the NTA said the decision was taken in light of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) Office Memorandum dated May 22 regarding the revised holiday date. The agency added that the postponement is in continuation of its earlier public notice issued on May 5.

The notice stated that the revised examination dates for the affected candidates would be announced in due course.
