New Delhi, April 27 -- The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has directed the concerned authorities in Delhi to ensure that designated parks in National Capital Delhi are not used for events for a period for 10 days in a month. This is in accordance with an order by the Supreme Court.

The National Green Tribunal (NGT) was hearing a case concerning allegations that swings had been installed and commercial activities were being mismanaged in a district park located in Rohini. Earlier, the tribunal had directed the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) to conduct a site inspection and submit a report.
