New Delhi, May 4 -- The New Delhi Municipal Council carried forward the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign with a plantation drive led by its Vice Chairman Kuljeet Singh Chahal.

Speaking on the occasion, Chahal said the campaign is being observed every Sunday by NDMC, with the latest event marking the 22nd programme under the initiative. He noted that more than 107 such plantation drives have already been conducted across NDMC areas, reflecting sustained commitment towards environmental conservation.
