New Delhi, July 9 -- The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) is conducting awareness drives in schools under the 'Safai Apnaao, Bimaari Bhagao' campaign to promote cleanliness and healthy habits among students.

As part of the initiative, the NDMC's ITC WOW Team is organising interactive sessions on personal hygiene, the importance of handwashing, the elimination of single-use plastics, and responsible waste management to prevent littering.

Students are actively participating in the campaign and taking pledges to adopt clean and sustainable practices. According to NDMC, the initiative aims to encourage behavioural change among young people and contribute to a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment.
