Modi, Rubio Review Strategic Partnership, Regional Security Ahead of QUAD Meeting
New Delhi, May 25 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi held talks with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in New Delhi, with both sides reviewing progress in the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership and discussing regional and global security issues.
In a post on X, Modi said he was "happy to receive" Rubio and noted that the two leaders discussed sustained progress in bilateral ties as well as issues related to regional and global peace and security. He added that India and the United States would continue to work closely "for the global good."
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar described his discussions with Rubio as "good discussions" covering the "entire spectrum" of the bilateral partnership. According to Jaishankar, ...
