New Delhi, April 10 -- Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh undertook a series of engagements in Yangon, reaffirming India's comprehensive partnership with Myanmar across cultural, developmental and economic domains.
At a community reception attended by over 300 members of the Indian diaspora and Friends of India in Myanmar, the minister highlighted the role of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations in strengthening cultural connections between the two countries. Marking ICCR Foundation Day, he emphasized initiatives such as cultural exchanges, scholarships, and the promotion of Indian music, dance, yoga and Hindi through the Mission's Cultural Centre.
