New Delhi, April 3 -- The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has strengthened its operational capacity with the induction of a new fleet of municipal vehicles, flagged off by Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh. The fleet includes 16 backhoe loaders (JCBs), 2 flood-control emergency vehicles, and 6 mechanical road sweepers, aimed at enhancing both sanitation services and disaster preparedness in the capital.
The flag-off ceremony was attended by key officials including Standing Committee Chairperson Satya Sharma, DEMS Committee Chairman Sandeep Kapoor, Deputy Chairman Dharamvir Singh, and MCD Commissioner Sandeep Khirwar, along with senior civic officials.
