New Delhi, June 10 -- MCD Commissioner Sanjeev Khirwar inspected the Civil Lines area and reviewed works related to cleanliness, environmental protection and citizen amenities. Deputy Commissioner of Civil Lines Shashi Pratap Singh, Chief Engineer P.C. Meena and other senior officials accompanied him during the inspection.

The Commissioner visited the 2,000 TPD C&D Waste Processing Plant at Jahangir Puri, Princess Road in Model Town and FCTS facilities at Delhi University, and issued directions aimed at promoting a cleaner, greener and better Delhi.

He also directed officials to develop FCTS facilities as model facilities and explore better utilisation of municipal land to enhance revenue generation.
