New Delhi, Sept. 1 -- Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa held a review meeting with officials of concerned departments at the Delhi Secretariat to discuss industrial development and improved management of electronic waste (e-waste) in the national capital.

The meeting focused on preparing a roadmap to transform the Jhandewalan Flatted Factory Complex into a "Smart Industrial Hub" equipped with modern facilities.

Officials also discussed plans to establish scientific facilities for the collection, segregation, dismantling and recycling of e-waste in Delhi, with an emphasis on ensuring its proper and environmentally responsible management.
