New Delhi, Aug. 25 -- Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will lead the Indian Parliamentary Delegation to the 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC) scheduled in Bridgetown, Barbados from 5 to 12 October 2025.

In preparation for the visit, Birla chaired an inter-ministerial meeting at Parliament House today, where senior officers briefed the Presiding Officers of Legislative Bodies from across the country about the key events of the conference.

The delegation will include Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha Harivansh, along with the Presiding Officers and Secretaries of 29 State and Union Territory Legislatures, representing the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) India Region.
