New Delhi, Feb. 18 -- The visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to India has been marked by significant outcomes. India and France have formally upgraded their relationship to a "Special Global Strategic Partnership," underscoring the trust, convergence of interests and long-term vision shared by both sides.
To ensure structured implementation of this elevated framework, India and France agreed to establish an annual Foreign Ministers' Dialogue that will regularly review progress under the enhanced partnership and the Horizon 2047 Roadmap. Officials described this move as a step toward institutionalising high-level coordination across sectors.
