New Delhi, Sept. 15 -- Mishra congratulated Jai Prakash on his new responsibility and described him as a grassroots leader closely connected with society and Delhi's issues.

He said the inclusion of Jai Prakash in the BJP's national team by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party national president Nitin Nabin was a matter of pride for Delhi.

The programme was organised by the Extremely Backward Classes Upliftment Mahasangh, which Mishra said was working to unite society.
