New Delhi, Sept. 26 -- External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar hosted the Foreign Ministers' Meeting of the Forum for India-Pacific Islands Cooperation (FIPIC) in New York.
He expressed satisfaction at the steady progress of the 12-point action plan announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the FIPIC-III Summit earlier this year.
Reaffirming India's commitment, Jaishankar said that India and the Pacific Island nations are development partners with a people-centric agenda. The focus areas of cooperation include healthcare, technology, capacity building, and training.
