Jaishankar Holds Talks With Chilean Foreign Minister
New Delhi, May 14 -- External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met Chilean Foreign Minister Francisco Perez Mackenna and discussed strengthening bilateral economic cooperation between India and Chile.
Jaishankar said the discussions focused on diversifying markets and sourcing networks, promoting exports of priority sectors and expanding cooperation in the services economy. Both sides also agreed to work closely in plurilateral and multilateral platforms.
He stated that India and Chile are entering a new phase of economic cooperation.
