New Delhi, July 25 -- In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's assurance to extend all possible support to Bangladesh following the tragic plane crash in Dhaka on 21 July 2025, a team of Indian medical professionals has commenced its visit to the country.

The Indian delegation, comprising doctors and nursing officials, began their mission with a series of detailed consultations with senior officials of the Bangladesh Ministry of Health and medical staff at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka. The team reviewed each of the critical cases, discussed treatment methodologies, and offered their expert assessment on the future course of care.
